When we had our first prototype, offered it to a local organic cafe called Greens. Its easy to grow, hearty, not mention packed with vitamins and minerals. More attractive.

In honor of this stalwart prototype, still providing delicious, leafy kale for all, we named it the Greens Urban planter. Plus, kale is a pretty attractive plant so it looked gorgeous as well. The rest, as they say, is history. Also, despite being in the downtown core, a high pedestrian traffic area, garden looked great - and stayed place all season.

We then add a specialty finish to give the texture of real wood.
